Sivaji’s astounding Telugu rates

Looks like Sivaji will set the records straight at the Telugu box office as well. After selling for staggering rates in Kerala, the Telugu rights of the most expected mega movie of the year is being negotiated for a whopping 14 crores. If you might remember, earlier Rajini's Chandramukhi fetched a record 11 crores in its Telugu box office collections.

Rajini – Shankar – Rahman combination has raised the bar among fans and Telugu cinema could just not resist the temptation to obtain the rights. Besides, one of the central minister's names is being speculated – who is associated with a production company – among the top contenders for acquiring the rights. Sivaji's shoots are being wrapped up in top gear for an April 14th release.
