Here in Bangalore, PVR rates are still at Rs. 200 (Opening week Rs. 250) as against normal rates of Rs. 130/150. In Inox too it continues to rock but they have brought down the rates to Rs. 150, which is their normal rate. In terms of no. of shows, from third week onwards, PVR reduced the daily shows in Classic from 6 to 5 & Gold Class (official ticket rates Rs. 500) from 5 to 4 & this is continuing till 4th week. We will have to see whats in store tomorrow when the 5th week starts. Daily morning I used to cross Urvashi theatre where Sivaji is running 4 shows a day from beginning, on way to my office around 10 am when at least half a dozen to 10 cars will be parked & before advance booking counter at least 10 to 15 people used to stand. This is the story till now. On my way back to home, if I cross Cauvery theatre where Sivaji is still running 4 shows a day around 9:30 PM, it will take anywhere between 15 mins. to 25 mins. to cross that circle. The reason is the changeover between Evening & Night show crowd coming out & going in causing huge traffic jam in that posh locality called Sadashiva Nagar.
